Morning Trails and Evening Grace in Indiana

A few autumn leaves are still holding on. Beautiful to see the last of the season's gold.

The lighting in the morning is amazing. It’s a perfect place for some morning reflection.

I’m currently spending three wonderful nights speaking at Sterling Christian Church in Veedersburg, Indiana. The hospitality has been incredible—the church was kind enough to put me up at the lodge in Turkey Run State Park, and it’s been the perfect retreat.

Each morning, I’ve been taking advantage of the quiet hours to explore the local trails. Even this late in the season, the landscape is stunning; there are still splashes of autumn color hanging onto the trees, lining the creeks and rivers that wind through the park. It’s been a refreshing recharge.

Feeling very grateful for the warm welcome and the chance to get lost in nature for a bit!

Exploring the rugged sandstone gorges of Turkey Run—definitely doesn’t feel like the typical Indiana flatlands!
