From Gladiators to Brothers: A Holy Land Journey

For the past two weeks, students from Central Christian College of the Bible, Johnson University, and Ozark Christian College walked where history was made. Led by professors Walt Harper (CCCB), Rick Cherok (Ozark), and Bill Wolf (Johnson), our group explored the Holy Land, trading classrooms for the dust and stone of the Bible’s most iconic sites.

It wasn't all just lectures and ruins, though. We prayed together, laughed until it hurt, and shared a journey of faith that turned three different schools into one community.

One of the trip's highlights? Charging onto the floor of the Beit Guvrin amphitheater like ancient gladiators representing our respective colleges—only to meet in the middle as friends.

We’re returning home exhausted, but our hearts are full of gratitude for the lessons learned and the bonds formed.
