Leaving behind the “dusty antiquity” of the deep past, we have arrived in the cradle of classic culture. There is a distinct shift in the air as we move from the land of the Pharaohs to the birthplace of democracy, philosophy, and the Olympic spirit. Athens has greeted us with all the energy you’d expect from a city that has been thriving for three millennia.
We’ve already started capturing the vibrant sights and sounds of the city, from the hum of the subway to the silent majesty of the old Agora. It’s the perfect transition from one ancient giant to another.
