There are options, but no convincing ones

While the traditional site of Mount Sinai is Jebel Musa on Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, alternative theories place it in northwestern Saudi Arabia. Proponents of the Saudi location often identify Jabal Maqla or Jabal al-Lawz as the true peak, pointing to archaeological findings such as "blackened" summits. This ongoing debate centers on interpretations of ancient geography.
