Packer fans from Germany. Go, Pack, Go!
Flying home from Frankfurt today, I was reminded that some traditions truly know no borders. I ended up meeting two German lads who are embarking on what they called a “holy pilgrimage” to the States.
Their destination? Not a cathedral or a historic monument, but Lambeau Field.
It turns out the “Cheesehead” fraternity is a worldwide phenomenon. Seeing their excitement for a Packers game thousands of miles from Wisconsin was the perfect way to wrap up my trip. It doesn’t matter where you’re from—once you’re part of the Pack, you’re family.
