The wreck of the Georgios G.
This ship was built in England after the end of the Second World War. It was stranded on corals off the Saudi coast in 1978 while carrying a cargo of flour. When technicians tried to restart its engines the ship caught fire. The flames lasted several days during which time everything was destroyed but its metal parts. Today this wreck is visited by the curious who drive the coast of NW Saudi Arabia.
