A Land Cruiser rumbles across the Serengeti, Tanzania.
The largest movement of land animals on the planet
While our 2025 African safaris have officially reached capacity, I am delighted to announce a brand-new adventure for those ready to witness the wild in its most raw, magnificent state. In February 2026, we are heading to the Southern Circuit to experience the Great Migration—the largest movement of land animals on the planet.
February is a singular moment in the Serengeti. As the herds gather on the nutrient-rich southern plains, the Calving Season begins. Witnessing hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebras gathered on the horizon is an experience that stays with you forever. It is a time of incredible vulnerability and high-octane predator action—a tutorial in the circle of life.
The Great Migration nears the Mara River in the winter season.
